![]() There are several OTC products that claim to help, but some, like the wipes, can actually increase the dryness that menopause causes.which, in turn, provides more negative results than positive.ĭouching, which our mother's generation lived by, is the worst thing you can do. My doctor recommended plain ol' soap and water for cleaning. Most importantly it's our natural cleansing process and helps us to fight infections.ĭuring menopause, the vagina doesn't produce as much of the discharge and we need to help the process along. This 'normal' discharge is very important for our bodies, serving several purposes. It becomes thicker (which worried me) and there isn't as much as we once had (it just seems to be twice as much because of the consistency). I recently talked to my doctor about a similar issue and she explained to me that when our estrogen levels drop, our normal discharge changes as well. I am so frustrated, and welcome any advice, or if anyone is or has experienced anything like this. I have been using the summer's eve wipes and they help alittle. The past two weeks I have been getting a whooshing in my head, like when you go to a concert and after its over you can't hear too well for a while. I have hot flashes, signs that it's coming, but nothing!! I am short tempered, on edge constantly. It has been over 100 days since I had a period. The next period in July was my norm and as of today, my last. To catch you up - in June I had a 90 day period and ended up in the hospital and had two blood transfusions. ![]()
